Retired Master Mariner, following a long career at sea and in the shipping industry, currently providing consultancy services in the Maritime industry.

1975 - 1977 Captain, On board MV Mauritius
1977 - 1982 General Manager, Desmarais Brothers
A stevedoring Company operating on various ships in Port Louis Harbour.
1982 - 1986 Captain, On board Ville de Mahebourg and MV Flamboyant
1986 - 1997 Manager, IBL Shipping
Responsible for the management of two reefer vessels owned by the Group.
1997 - 2007 General Manager, Shipping & Aviation Department of IBL Group.
Day to day management of reefer vessels and shipping agencies representing major ship-owners.
2007- 2010 General Manager, Fishing Department of the IBL Group.
Managing of two fishing vessels namely Etelis and Sainte-Rita.
2011 – To date Owner/Director, Marine Electronics Co. Ltd
Management of a Freeport Company engaged in the supply, installation and repairs of marine electronics equipment
