Our Objectives, Our Mission & Our Vision
Our Objectives:
- To cater for the welfare of local and foreign seafarers;
- To assist shipwrecked and distressed seafarers on the most reasonable terms as agreed with ship-owners / shipping agents;
- To establish and maintain a network with similar institutions in other parts of the world; and
- To do all such things that are conducive to the attainment of the above objects.
Our Mission:
Promote by all means the welfare, be it actual or future , of seafarers, in particular, those engaged in commerce between Mauritius and other ports. The seafarers Centre should be a home away from home for our seafarers.
Our Vision:
To be a Centre of excellence in providing services to Seafarers in transit and Seafarers at large.
